THE WAVE OP #1

OP #1

Q1.The Wave occurred in a high school history class in Palo Alto, California, in 1969.
At there school they used typewriters instead of laptops like we do. the writer also gave it away by saying they used film projectors. Also high school kidz were smoking cigarettes which was what really made it fit in wit its time period.

Q2. The human skeletons had the gruesome task of stacking the dead under the watching eyes of the Nazi soldiers".(page 10 paragraph 2).this is the sentence that stood out to me the most. This sentence stood out to me because how could someone force other humans to do such a horrible job like that. Also it made me wonder what would happen to the people they made do that because it said Nazi soldiers were watching so i would think that they would kill them then stack them there like the other skeletons.

Q3why does every well allot of students pick on Robert Billings and also why do they think he is so strange???

BETTY ANN

1. I think it was at that moment when i began to see what we had been doing. "Why don't you girls like Betty Ann? she likes you..."
Well I chose this part because i thought it was the most mest up part of the story cause the girl had no friends and people still didn't want to work with her even tho she does most the work. I also chose it because it tells you how much the mom cares for her daughter and all she wants is her daughter to have friends.

2. i would have ignored them when they were teasing her about what she said and ate and clothes that she wore.

3. i think the whole point of this story is don't exclude people when you know you wouldn't want to be either and don't do something that may cause to mess up there lives mentally.

RESPONSE TO "TEST

1.Makes better drivers of them, more careful drivers the rest of there life. i thought what that sentence meant was it made them better drivers by terrorizing them for the rest of there life and made them not really want to drive.

2.I think in one way its good to see if they would cause a hit an run accident and to see how they would react to a accident. I also think its not tho to because its not right to put them threw that and if they say there ready for there license and then say there sick and need mental help.

3."How do any of us know?" I thought what Theodore L. Thomas was saying is well actually there are many different reasons. one reason for instants is it life could be a dream. but it could just be how you think about it. This is what he wanted us to do just be left puzzled at the end.

Ms. I's mist Movie

In my class today we watch a movie since one of my teachers was not there. well some facts that i did not know before was that lions don't usually hunt elephants but if there hungry enough the whole pack will go after the same one so they could bring it down. I also learned that lions could live off one elephant for a week. well Ms. I you mist a pretty OK movie but my favorite part of it was the hunting scenes. I didn't know that when filming at night for a documentary you have to use special lights called inferred because there pitch black to the naked eye but when you film it works like night vision goggles. Last but least is i learned that fig trees grow figs all year long. I have much more things i learned i just don't want to type them all.

my favorite book from 6th grade

My favorite book last year was The Last Book in the Universe. I liked it because there are allot of things that can happen in the future like most people think were going to get more types of technology but in this book its totally different. There are these groups of people like gangs that have taken over the city's. The main story line of this book is one old man named Ryter has a idea to write a book, even though he may be punished. Which may leed to death for doing so. Spaz is also trying to leave his city to see his dying sister. This a extremely good book and I recommend it to allot of fifth and sixth graders.
